SO  EASY  TO  APPLY                         HOUSE PLANTS For the average house plant in a six to eight inch pot, about 1 teaspoon of Orgaplus will be enough.  Just sprinkle the pellets on the surface of the potting mix and water as usual.  The Orgaplus dissolves slowly and will nourish the plant and soil for about two months.  You cannot burn the plants, so even if you are unsure of the time elapsed since last applied or if you happen to get a little too much, it's OK.  With continued use, you will see healthier plants with lots of blooms.  Above is a picture of African violets that have been fed Orgaplus for 2 ½ years.  They are watered once a week and they receive bright light all day and a small amount of direct sun. Sometimes watering from the top can spot  the leaves on African violets, so these have been grown in special pots that allow water to be absorbed through an unglazed inner pot.  Orgaplus was still appplied by sprinkling on the top surface.  The moisture in the potting mix penetrates the pellets just as if they had been watered from the top.  Remember to remove the dried spent blossoms and any withered leaves from the bottom of the plant to maintain a neat appearance.  As you can see, they are all just beautiful.

OUTSIDE PLANTS DIVIDING AND TRANSPLANTING If you are an avid gardener, you know that during this time of early spring when the days are warm and the nights still a little cool, that this is the best time to transplant or thin out your perennials.  Try to move plants in the evening so the sun does not wilt them.  Adding some Orgaplus to the planting hole and watering well definitely gives the new transplant a jump start in it's new location.  Orgaplus will not burn the roots, and it will provide macro and micro nutrients to promote growth.

PLANTING THE VEGETABLE GARDEN      Be sure to work some Orgaplus into the planting hole when setting out vegetable and herb plants.  Water as usual.  They will have a great start and you can top dress with Orgaplus when plants have taken root and are actively growing.  Six to eight weeks later, apply a second top dress with Orgaplus. Sprinkle Orgaplus into the furrow of your seed rows.  Nutrients in the Orgaplus pellet help in germination by feeding the seed casing and the inner sprout.

ESTABLISHED FLOWER BEDS This is the easiest application of all.  Simply broadcast Oraplus throughout your established flower beds.  Even on top of the mulch is OK.  Supplement natural rains with regular watering if needed and watch your flower beds put on a show.  You can apply again in six to eight weeks to keep plants at their peak performance.

SHRUBS AND TREES Sprinkle a handful of Orgaplus at the base of shrubs and trees.  Cover the area out to the drip line of the tree or shrub.  Spring fertilizing gives you beautiful top growth; the leaves and blooms, while fall fertilizing will strengthen the root system of the plant.

LAWNS Lawns will benefit the most from Orgaplus if applied at least three times a year.  Use a broadcast spreader for the best results.  The first application of the year should be in early spring - sometime in March is ideal.  With a little rain and warmer temperatures, your lawn will start to green up.  The second application should be 3 months later.  The key to any fertilizer program is water.  Your lawn is the most thristy plant in your landscape.  Therefore, if there is not adequate rainfall, you should supplement with regular waterings for the finest results.  November brings the end of the growing season, and this is the best time to apply Orgaplus one last time for the year.  This cool season application will promote excellent root development all during the winter months.  Orgaplus is designed to work all year round at any temperature.  A stronger, healthier root system will give your lawn an added advantage next spring when new growth starts. The above listed applications are simply guidelines.  Keep in mind that Orgaplus is 100% chemical free and will not burn or harm any of your plants.  You may give any of your plants additional applications whenever you feel it necessary.  This is a soil conditioner as well as fertilizer and will continually improve the growing conditions any time of year.
